Jeff Clark is a long time resident of York and has raised his family in this community. His
practice includes all facets of residential and commercial real estate transactions, including
the negotiation and drafting of real estate contracts, the preparation of loan closing
documents and conducting closings. Under his management, Clark & Howell’s real estate
department provides title search and title examination services, escrow services and title
insurance for your real estate closing. Attorney Clark provides practical and useful advice
to business owners, small and large, in setting up and maintaining business organizations
such as corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships. Clark & Howell has more
than 300 corporate clients, representing business organizations in every segment of the
economy.

Attorney Howell received his undergraduate degree from Pepperdine University in Malibu,
California, and worked in the entertainment industry and news broadcasting before attending
law school at the University of New Hampshire School of Law (f/k/a Franklin Pierce Law
Center) in Concord, New Hampshire. His practice at Clark & Howell focuses on civil
litigation and criminal defense. Specifically, attorney Howell focuses on handling cases
involving personal injury, contract, construction, land dispute, landlord/tenant issues, and
family matters.
Attorney Howell has strong ties to Maine, dating back two generations, and he now resides
in York with his wife and two daughters, and is an active member of the community. He
currently volunteers as a mentor with the Jumpstart program, which is an organization
through the York Police Department that provides guidance to first-time, juvenile,
non-violent offenders. Attorney Howell also dedicates countless hours to pro-bono
representation for individuals unable to afford legal counsel, and is an active member of the
York County Bar Association and the Maine Trial Lawyers Association.
