Attorney Howell has strong ties to Maine, dating back two generations, and he now resides in York with his wife and four children. He is an active member of the community and currently volunteers as a mentor with the Jumpstart program, which is an organization through the York Police Department that provides guidance to first-time, juvenile, non-violent offenders. Attorney Howell is also on the board of the York Education Foundation (YEF), where he serves as the vice president. YEF is an independent, non-profit organization that raises money and provides grants for the benefit of York schools, teachers and students. Attorney Howell dedicates countless hours to pro-bono representation for individuals unable to afford legal counsel, and is an active member of the York County Bar Association and the Maine Trial Lawyers Association.
Attorney Howell received his undergraduate degree from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, and worked in the entertainment industry and news broadcasting before attending law school at the University of New Hampshire School of Law (f/k/a Franklin Pierce Law Center) in Concord, New Hampshire. His practice at Clark & Howell focuses on civil litigation and criminal defense.
